Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembélé scored a fantastic against Tottenham Hotspur this evening much to the delight of Arsenal and club striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Dembele scored after he intercepted the ball from young Spurs defender Kyle Walker-Peters and ran the majority of the pitch, finishing with a left footed shot from the centre of the box to put the travelling north Londoners behind after seven minutes.

With Tottenham needing to better Inter Milan’s result against Dutch side PSV, it wasn’t the ideal start for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Dembele has been in fantastic form this season for Barcelona, scoring nine goals in 20 games throughout all competitions, picking up five assists along the way.

One man who was pleased was Arsenal striker Aubameyang who took to Twitter to heap praise upon the French striker. The two forwards are former teammates from back in their Borussia Dortmund days so the goal was even sweeter to witness from the current Gunners scorer.

Despite Dembele’s recent form, the Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Barcelona in the near future, with his attitude and unprofessional attitude coming under criticism.
