Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri says he “wanted to kill” Aboubakar Kamara after he missed a penalty against Huddersfield on Saturday.
Fulham won the game 1-0, but Ranieri was not 100% happy after the final whistle.

- Following the game, Ranieri said he “wanted to kill” Kamara after his miss.
Kamara failed to convert the penalty but was saved 10 minutes later by his Serbian team-mate when he scored his eighth goal of the season in the 91st minute at Craven Cottage.
Mitrovic was furious after Kamara refused to give him the ball, as was Ranieri who said he “wanted to kill” the striker after the game.
“I said to Aboubakar Kamara to leave the ball to Mitrovic, he is the man who shoots the penalties. It is unbelievable what he did,” Ranieri told the BBC.
“I wanted to kill him. That is normal when one man takes a ball, only because he scored the last penalty (against Manchester United). It should be Mitrovic, that is it.
“He did not respect me, the club, team-mates and crowd. I spoke with him, it is not right.”
Mitrovic seemed to have cooled his jets after the full-time whistle.
“We had a small argument and I think it is my job for penalties,” he told the BBC. “He did not think like this but I respect that. I have done the same in the past.
“I don’t have a problem with this, he missed and that is part of football. He changed the game when he came on in the second half.”

Fulham were able to salvage some hope of escaping the drop zone with their victory over their fellow relegation battlers on Saturday. For Huddersfield, the situation is looking increasingly bleak as they failed, yet again, to get a result despite having several opportunities to find the net.
The Terriers have only scored 12 times this season – the fewest goals scored in the league – which is the primary reason for them being rock bottom after 20 games. Huddersfield need to start getting results, and fast, if they hope to turn things around in the new year as they risk falling too far behind the sides immediately above them.
