UCL last-16: Liverpool draw gives Klopp chance for revenge, nightmare tie for Man Utd

The draw for the last 16 of the Champions League has been made, with Man City, Man United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool all learning their fate.

After comfortably topping group F, Man City have been handed with a favourable tie against Schalke, who have struggled in the German Bundesliga this season.

Man United, who finished second behind Juventus in group H, have the unenviable task of trying to get past Kylian Mbappe and Neymar’s PSG.

Tottenham left it extremely late to qualify for the knockout rounds, with Lucas Moura’s 85th-minute goal securing a vital 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp in the final group game. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have a very tough draw against Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund, who are unbeaten domestically so far this season.

And finally for the English sides, last season’s Champions League runners-up Liverpool have drawn German champions Bayern Munich, having only qualified with a 1-0 win over Napoli in their final group game.
