Liverpool playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri has been praised for his match-winning performance against Manchester United. 

Shaqiri was the difference between the two sides as Liverpool continued their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Naturally, Liverpool fans and the Twitter community were absolutely delighted with Shaqiri’s impact off the bench and took to tweeting their praise towards the former Stoke City star.

One compared Shaqiri with former Chelsea and England legend Frank Lampard.

One praised the club for bringing him to the club, insisting it was the “best bargain signing this season”.
