Chelsea vs Manchester United team news: Morata replaces Giroud, Rashford and Martial both start

The starting XIs have been confirmed for today’s giant clash between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Maurizio Sarri has set his side out in his trademark 4-3-3 system, with Mateo Kovacic for Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud for Alvaro Morata making up the two changes to the side that beat Southampton 3-0 before the international break.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has also made two changes to the team that completed a stunning second-half comeback to beat Newcastle United 3-2 in their last match.

Scott McTominay and Eric Bailly have dropped out of the Manchester United side, while Juan Mata and Victor Lindelof take their place.

Chelsea can go top of the Premier League for a short time at least if they avoid defeat, while a win for Manchester United could see them climb as high as sixth.

Kick-off is at 12.30pm.
