Arsenal confirm Adidas will replace Puma as their kit suppliers next year

Adidas has been announced as Arsenal’s next kit supplier and will take over from Puma at the start of the 2019/20 season, the club have revealed.

With Puma’s five-year deal with the Gunners due to expire at the end of this season, Adidas have long been touted as the club’s next kit partners.

Reports suggest that Arsenal will earn up to £60million-per-season from the new deal, which equates to £300m over the course of their five-year agreement.

The partnership is set to become the third most lucrative kit deal in world football, behind Manchester United’s £75m a year deal with Adidas and Barcelona’s £140m annual agreement with Nike.

The Gunners already have history with their new suppliers, with fans having fond memories of the Adidas strip they wore during their title-winning season in 1988/89.

The agreement was revealed on Arsenal’s Twitter page with the club confirming that the deal will come into place from July 1st 2019.
