Man City, Watford, Wolves & Brighton: The 2018/19 FA Cup semi-final draw in full

The FA Cup final is nearing its end and the draw for the semi-finals has been made.

For the fourth year in a row, the FA Cup semi-finals consist of four Premier League teams, with Reading the last non-top flight team to reach the final four when they faced eventual winners Arsenal in 2014/15.

FA Cup semi-finals: Five things you need to know…

  1. Manchester City beat Swansea City to keep their hopes of a quadruple alive, and will face Brighton & Hove Albion.
  2. Brighton – now the lowest ranked team – were just seconds away from being knocked out by Millwall but came back to win on penalties.
  3. In the other tie of the round Watford have been drawn to face Wolves, after both seeing off Premier League opposition in the quarter-finals.
  4. The semi-finals are set to be played on the weekend of 6-7 April.
  5. The FA Cup final is scheduled for Sunday, 18 May.

Manchester City are still on course for an unprecedented quadruple after getting past Championship side Swansea City, albeit in controversial circumstances.

Their rivals Manchester United, however, are out of the competition after being beaten by fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers – who booked their first FA Cup semi-final place since 1998.

Elsewhere, Watford beat Crystal Palace in another all-Premier League tie while Brighton & Hove Albion saw off Championship side Millwall on penalties after a dramatic comeback.
