Manchester United take on Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day in Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s first game at Old Trafford since being appointed United’s caretaker manager.
United have struggled to compete with their rivals among the “big six” clubs this season and are eight points adrift of European qualification at Christmas.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield are faring even worse, currently languishing in 19th place with only 10 points from their 18 games.
Only goal difference is keeping the Terriers above bottom-of-the-table Fulham and the West Yorkshire side are looking increasingly unlikely to avoid the drop this campaign.
When is Man Utd vs Huddersfield

Team News
Romelu Lukaku will be missing again from United’s line up, while Alexis Sanchez is expected to remain on the sidelines despite returning to Manchester to recover from a hamstring injury.
Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Scott McTominay are unlikely to be available for the Norwegian’s return to Old Trafford.
Man Utd’s caretaker manager has hinted that he may give other players a chance to impress during the busy period. Marouane Fellaini, Fred and Andres Pereira all came off the bench in the 5-1 win in Wales and may feature from the start on Boxing Day.
Academy graduates and Angel Gomes and James Garner travelled to Cardiff but it remains to be seen if they will be involved against the Terriers.

Struggling Huddersfield were without midfielder Jonathan Hogg who sustained a knee injury prior to the Terriers’ loss against Southampton on Saturday, but the Englishman could return on Boxing Day.
Winger Rajiv van La Parr could also return to the squad after two months out with a back injury.
David Wagner will definitely be without Tommy Smith, Danny Williams Abdelhamid Sabiri and Aaron Mooy, however.
