Arsenal and Spurs suffered defeat at the weekend and were eliminated from this year’s instalment of the cup, while Liverpool succumbed to an early exit in the previous round.

- Holders Chelsea will take on last year’s runners-up Manchester United.
- Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will travel to Middlesbrough or Newport County.
- Crystal Palace will take on Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Elsewhere, AFC Wimbledon rolled back the Crazy Gang years to produce a giantkilling against West Ham on Saturday evening, and Everton were put to the sword by Millwall at the Den.
