Deadline day is fast approaching and clubs across Europe are scrambling to get deals done before the transfer window closes.

A number of high-profile deals have already gone through this week: Alvaro Morata has left Chelsea for Atletico Madrid on an 18-month loan, while Paris Saint-Germain have completed the permanent signing of Leandro Paredes from Zenit Saint Petersburg for a reported fee of £35m.

But with the big moves stealing the limelight, plenty of transfers have gone under the radar in recent days. Here are 11 done deals you might have missed this week.

1. Bakary Sako

From: West Brom

To: Crystal Palace

Fee: Free

Sako left Palace last summer after his contract expired, joining West Brom on a deal until the end of the season in October. He made just three Championship appearances and the Baggies have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

The 30-year-old has now rejoined Palace until the end of the current campaign. He’ll be aiming to add to the eight goals he scored in 50 appearances during his first stint at Selhurst Park.

2. Cedric Soares

From: Southampton

To: Inter Milan

Fee: Loan (with £9.5m option to buy)

After three-and-a-half seasons at Southampton, Cedric has decided to leave England for Italy, joining Inter Milan on an initial loan. The Serie A giants have a £9.5m option to make the deal permanent next summer.

Cedric made 108 appearances across all competitions for the Saints and was part of the team that reached the EFL Cup final in 2017.

3. Medhi Benatia

From: Juventus

To: Al-Duhail

Fee: £8.7m

Benatia found his game time reduced since the return of Leonardo Bonucci at Juventus last summer. The 31-year-old Moroccan would have been a decent signing for a Premier League club, particularly at a price of just £8.7m.

But Benatia has chosen Qatari side Al-Duhlail as his next destination. He will be remembered fondly in Turin, where he made 59 appearances and won two Serie A titles.

4. Martin Caceres

From: Lazio

To: Juventus

Fee: Loan

Benatia’s exit has seen Juventus enter the market for a new centre-back, and the Italian champions have turned to a familiar face to provide defensive reinforcements at the Allianz Stadium.

Martin Caceres returns for his third spell at Juventus. The 31-year-old joins on loan from Lazio, for whom he has made just four league appearances this season.

5. Gelson Martins

From: Atletico Madrid

To: Monaco

Fee: Loan

Last summer, Atletico Madrid took advantage of Sporting Lisbon’s contract dispute situation by luring Martins to La Liga. However, the Portugal international has failed to make an impact in the Spanish capital.

According to Sky Sports, Newcastle had been in for Martins before Monaco swooped this week. His exit was necessary before Alvaro Morata was allowed to join Atletico on loan from Chelsea.

6. Joel Campbell

From: Frosinone

To: Club Leon

Fee: Undisclosed

After spending seven years at Arsenal – mostly out on loan at clubs across Europe – Joel Campbell finally left the Emirates permanently last summer, joining Italian club Frosinone.

Campbell is already on the move again after sealing another permanent transfer, this time to Mexican side Club Leon, strengthening his ‘journeyman’ status.

7. Josh Maja

From: Sunderland

To: Bordeaux

Fee: £3.5m

Maja broke into the Sunderland team last season when the club was desperately short up front. The teenager has lit up League One this term, scoring 15 goals, leading to reported interest from Premier League clubs.

However, Maja has made the unexpected decision to move abroad, signing for French side Bordeaux. It will be interesting to see how he gets on in Ligue 1.

8. Marko Rog

From: Napoli

To: Sevilla

Fee: Loan

Rog has been the victim of Napoli possessing too many good central midfielders since his arrival from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2016.

With his first-team opportunities limited in Italy, the Croatian has joined Sevilla on loan until the end of the season and will help the La Liga side push for Champions League qualification.

9. Wu Lei

From: Shanghai SIPG

To:  Espanyol

Fee: Undisclosed

Wu Lei was the top scorer in the Chinese Super League last season, scoring 27 goals and attracting the interest of Espanyol’s Chinese owners.

The 27-year-old, who made his Shanghai debut when was just 14, will be tasked with helping Espanyol turn around their wretched La Liga form; they are currently 15th having lost nine of their last 10 league games.

10. Marlos Moreno

From: Man City

To: Santos Laguna

Fee: Loan

Moreno leaves for his fourth loan spell away from Manchester City, this time joining Club Santos Laguna in Mexico.

The 22-year-old is yet to make his senior debut for City and isn’t likely to break into the first-team. A permanent transfer is likely to happen eventually.

11. Jese

From: PSG

To: Real Betis

Fee: Loan

Real Betis completed the signing of Jese on loan from Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain, for whom he made no appearances this season, on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old cost PSG £22m when they bought him from Real Madrid in 2016. There is reportedly no option to buy in their deal with Quique Setien’s eighth-place La Liga side and the Parisiens will pay most of his salary while Jese completes the campaign in Seville.
