Barcelona forward Malcom is unhappy with his current situation at the club, according to the player’s agent.
Malcom joined Barcelona in the summer from French club Bordeaux, snubbing Roma in the process despite agreeing a deal – with the Italian side going as far as announcing his arrival.
But, joining Barcelona, Malcom has made just two brief cameo appearances so far with little impact – struggling to get into a team packed with attacking stars such as Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho.
And Malcom’s agent, Junior Minguella, has admitted the player is frustrated with the situation at Barcelona, though is remaining motivated.
“Every player needs a period of adaptation and minutes on the pitch to prove their worth,” Junior Minguella told RAC1 (via Football Italia).
“He hasn’t had them yet, but he’ll prove his worth when he does play. He doesn’t like the situation, but he’s focused and very motivated.”

Last season for Bordeaux, Malcom proved himself to be one of the trickiest wingers in Ligue 1, scoring 12 goals and recording seven assists in 35 appearances.
The Brazilian showed his pace and ability on the ball, completing 93 take-ons – the fifth-highest in Ligue 1, with a 66% success rate.
But such is Malcom’s lack of playing time at Barcelona, the Brazilian is yet to complete a take-on or create a chance for his new side in La Liga.
Ousmane Dembélé has now been directly involved in 34 first-team goals with his right foot for club & country:

Ousmane Dembele, meanwhile, has scored four goals in nine appearances across the league and the Champions League.
Seen as Malcom’s direct competition for a starting spot, the ambipedal winger started the season brightly before seeing a slight dip in playing time and performance.
However, the potential of dropping Luis Suarez and moving Lionel Messi back into a false nine role – thus leaving space for both Malcom and Dembele on the flanks – remains an option due to the Uruguayan’s frustrating displays.
Barcelona next host top-of-the-table Sevilla at Camp Nou in La Liga on Saturday, October 20th.
