The pressure is on for Manchester United as they host Valencia in the Champions League this evening. Will Jose Mourinho get a much-needed victory? Or could this be the end of his Old Trafford tenure?
The Red Devils equalled their worst Premier League start ever after the convincing 3-1 defeat to West Ham at the weekend and reports that the manager has lost the dressing room simply won’t go away.
In their opening Champions League game two weeks ago, they secured a 3-0 victory at Young Boys, so to continue this solid start would take the pressure off everyone at the club.

Man Utd vs Valencia tip one – Both teams to score @ 4/5
It’s going to be a tense night at Old Trafford and although the Manchester United players may rally together at times, their vulnerable defensive unit is bound to be punished at least once by the Spanish visitors.
Valencia have lost just once in La Liga this season and will be a dangerous outfit for Mourinho’s men to contend with, particularly with the very lively front two of Michy Batshuayi and Kevin Gameiro.
Key Stat: Manchester United are yet to keep a clean sheet at Old Trafford this season.

Man Utd vs Valencia tip two – Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @ Evens
The form of Romelu Lukaku is rather bizarre. He seems to regularly reflect the atmosphere of the squad he is in. During the World Cup, he looked like a leader and talisman for his country – with his goals return backing this up.
Then, at times for his club, he looks like one of the best strikers in the Premier League and the man that could drag Manchester United from an average performance to a good performance and perhaps some crucial points.
At the moment though, he’s gone four games without a goal and needs to raise his game – something we think he’ll do. It could suit him if player power takes over somewhere for tonight’s Red Devils performance.
Key Stat: Romelu Lukaku scored in three of Man Utd’s four Champions League home matches last season.

Man Utd vs Valencia tip three – Draw 1st half / Man Utd to win 2nd half @ 18/5
One thing Valencia have been this season is solid and tough to beat. In years gone by, you would worry that they would leak goals against top opponents.
However, they are unbeaten in La Liga since the opening day and have conceded just three goals all season. This suggests to us that they could hold Man Utd for the majority of tonight’s match, certainly enough to be level at half-time.
For the home side though, SURELY there is at least one player that will take this game by the scruff of the neck in the second half and produce a match-winning moment for Manchester United.
Key Stat: Manchester United have lost just one of their last 13 Champions League home games
