The pressure is well and truly on Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho this weekend as his team hosts Newcastle United in the Premier League.
Going into the Saturday evening fixture, the Red Devils have gone four matches in all competitions without a victory. To put this into context, they haven’t gone five games without winning since 1999.
This means anything other than three points against a struggling Newcastle side would create more unwanted history and perhaps even spell the end of Mourinho’s time at the club.
Ahead of the match at Old Trafford, we’ve collated our best bets with William Hill.

Man Utd vs Newcastle tip one: Score to be 1-0 Man Utd at half-time @ 11/5
As disappointing as the Red Devils have been this season, they have given themselves the platform to build on a couple of times. Look at two recent home games as an example.
Against Wolves, Fred gave them an 18th minute lead in a game they eventually drew. Then against Derby, Juan Mata scored in the opening five minutes before the home side went on to lose on penalties.
For some reason. they seem to start games reasonably strongly, but if they don’t grab a second goal – the self-doubt creeps in and they eventually buckle.
Perhaps a similar trend will continue this weekend against a Newcastle side that has won once away from home since January 2018.
Key Stat: Man Utd have been 1-0 up at HT in four of their last five Premier League home games

Man Utd vs Newcastle tip two: Luke Shaw to be carded @ 11/2
On more than one occasion this season, Luke Shaw – who has had to fight back from injury and a lack of confidence – has been the man to come out fighting for Manchester United.
This isn’t only on the pitch either. Yes, he’s won player of the month two times in succession, but he’s also been the man apologising to fans after an abject display from the team. The Man Utd fans have really taken to him this term.
Perhaps, with some fire in his belly, he’ll try a bit too hard as he looks to push the team towards a victory.
Key Stat: Luke Shaw has been carded three times in nine appearances for club and country this season
Tip: Luke Shaw to be carded @ 11/4 with William Hill – bet here

Man Utd vs Newcastle tip three: Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @ Evens
It’s about time Romelu Lukaku stood up to be counted, isn’t it? Presuming Mourinho keeps faith in the striker after a bad run of form, he’ll not get many better opportunities to grab himself a goal.
For the Belgium international, it’s been a good trait of his that when he’s being completely written off, he answers in the best way possible – goals.
If the home side can dominate possession and be more creative than against Valencia, his chances will come.
Key Stat: Romelu Lukaku (4) has scored more goals than any other Manchester United player in the Premier League this season
Tip: Romelu Lukaku to score anytime @ Evens with William Hill – bet here
