In arguably the tie of the round, Brazil and Belgium will fight it out on Friday looking to book their place in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
Brazil beat Group F runners-up Mexico 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals in a fairly straightforward fashion by Belgium endured a tougher task, having to come from two goals down to beat Japan 3-2 thanks to an injury-time winner from Nacer Chadli.

Brazil are yet to be awarded a penalty – apart from the one VAR took away from them against Switzerland – but it could be time for one to go their way.
The five-time world champions have had 150 touches in their opponents’ boxes so far at the World Cup, the most of any team left in the tournament.
Brazil have also won 58 fouls, a number bettered only by France (59) of the teams still competing. Of those 58, 23 have been won by Neymar, who is the most fouled player at the tournament with 23 – four more than any other player.

Brazil vs Belgium Tip 2: Both teams to score YES @ 3/4
With two exciting attacking teams, Brazil vs Belgium is destined to yield goals and both sides can be expected to find the net on Friday.
Belgium lead the way in the tournament for goals scored, having netted 12 in their four games so far, while Brazil have managed seven – with both scoring in every game. The Red Devils have also created the most big chances (18) and chances (60) so far, with Brazil next on 57 chances.
On the other side of the coin, Belgium have also proven to be weak in defence at times, going 2-0 down to Japan and conceding four goals so far. Only England failed to score against the Red Devils in the final game of Group G with neither side looking at their fullest.

Brazil vs Belgium Tip 3: Brazil to win in 90 minutes @ 23/20
While this will be an exciting tie as Brazil and Belgium battle for a semi-final place, and the Red Devils have proven their goalscoring ability, the five-time winners may just be a step too far.
Despite not being at their attacking best, Brazil often know how to negotiate tricky ties as was demonstrated against Mexico and in several ties in World Cup history.
Belgium, however, will be playing in back-to-back World Cup quarter-finals for the first time in their history with the moniker of the ‘Golden Generation’ resting heavy on their shoulders.
The last time Brazil faced a ‘Golden Generation’ team in the quarter-finals of a World Cup, England were the losers in 2002, and Belgium may just fall to the same fate in 2018.
