Is Fran Kirby the female Eden Hazard?
With rumours Eden Hazard is set to leave Stamford Bridge, Chelsea won’t be out of superstars with Fran Kirby playing for the Blues’ Women’s side.
She joins Hazard in being nominated for a Ballon D’Or; Kirby makes history as this is the first ever women’s Ballon D’Or award. She is also the only player from the WSL to be nominated and won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and inaugural Football Writers’ Women’s Footballer of the year last season.
In good company with @hazardeden10 & @nglkante representing @ChelseaFC @ChelseaFCW ☺️ such an amazing honour! #ballondor #ChelseaFC #ChelseaFCW pic.twitter.com/IupNmCpHzx

Can Arsenal win the WSL?
With the men’s side also on a winning streak, the Arsenal women’s side currently sit at the top of the table and have no intentions of going anywhere. But that doesn’t mean they are resting on their laurels.
“There’s always room for improvement. I know it’s a cliche but there’s always little things that you want to improve and build upon, and that’s what I like about it,” said Arsenal manager Joe Montemurro (via the club’s official website).
Head to head
The last time these two met was in the 2018 Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley, which saw Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-1 thanks to goals from Fran Kirby and a brace from Ramona Bachmann.
Since 2017, Chelsea are unbeaten against the Gunners, winning two league matches and drawing the other. But Arsenal are the form side going into the match, having scored 16 goals in three Women’s Super League matches so far this season – compared to Chelsea’s two.
