Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has revealed he would be happy to have Paul Pogba at the club.
The World Cup-winning midfielder is reportedly unhappy at Manchester United due to tensions with manager Jose Mourinho.
Pogba captained United to an opening day victory over Leicester City, in which the midfielder bagged himself a goal from the penalty spot, but the side are still being criticised for their lack of fluidity that many United fans became accustomed to during the Alex Ferguson era.
There have been been reports that Pogba could be tempted to leave Old Trafford if an offer came in and Barcelona is a destination than many think could be likely.
He will certainly be a sought-after player after having a good season in 2017/18 that saw him hit double figures for assists.
Paul Pogba is the first Man Utd player to provide 10+ assists in a single Premier League season since Ángel Di María in 2014/15.

Barcelona defender Pique was asked about whether the Pogba situation would make signing for Barcelona a realistic scenario, as reported by AS, and the Spanish international replied: “I’m not very aware of what’s going on between them, Pogba is a great player and he’s there and we’ll see in the future if he changes club.
“It would be good if he came and would make us happy in the future, but we have to respect a player who is from Manchester.”
Manchester United were well beaten by Brighton last weekend, before Monday’s 3-0 mauling at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, increasing the tension and pressure on manager Mourinho, who has cut an increasingly disgruntled figure at the club.
It is reported that the Portuguese manager wanted to bring in more signings this summer but was frustrated as many of his targets priced United out of the market.
United’s next game is away at Burnley on Sunday, against whom they have not lost in their last seven meetings.
