Sevilla midfielder Steven Nzonzi has been pictured arriving in Roma for a medical ahead of his proposed move.
While the English transfer window has closed, clubs in Europe are still able to do business up until the end of August.
And Roma are making the most of that, bringing in World Cup winner Nzonzi for a reported €30million.
Nzonzi had previously been linked with a move to Premier League clubs Manchester United and Arsenal, having once represented Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers in England.

But now, the Frenchman has touched down in Rome to complete his move to the Giallorossi ahead of the upcoming Serie A season.
Roma confirmed his arrival on Twitter, sharing a video of Nzonzi taking pictures after arriving at a Rome airport and then leaving to a mob of cheering fans.
Nzonzi is likely to step in as a replacement for Radja Nainggolan after the Belgian left Roma for Inter Milan earlier in the summer.
A move to Roma would also see Nzonzi reunite with director of football Monchi, who held the same role at Sevilla until 2017.
Part of Didier Deschamps’ World Cup-winning squad, Nzonzi played five times in Russia including coming off the bench in the final to help push France over the line against Croatia.
The Frenchman will be Roma’s 13th new signing of the summer, joining the likes of Javier Pastore, Justin Kluivert, Davide Santon, Daniel Fuzato and others at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma start their Serie A season away to Torino on Sunday as Eusebio Di Francesco’s side look to build on their third-placed finish last campaign.
