West Ham United midfielder Jack Wilshere has leaked an image seemingly confirmed the transfer of Arsenal striker Lucas Perez to the club.
Perez has been expected to make the move before the deadline closes at 5pm this afternoon, with new Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini looking to strengthen his attack ahead of the 18/19 campaign.
The transfer – which is expected to cost the Hammers £5 million – is yet to be confirmed via official club sources.
However, Wilshere – who also made the move from north to east London this summer – has posted an Instagram post which shows Perez in a West Ham kit, most likely in the changing rooms at the Hammers training facilities.

Perez moved to Arsenal from Spanish side Deportivo de La Coruna for a transfer fee of £17.1 million back in 2016, after the striker had scored 24 goals in 58 league games for the La Liga side.
For the Gunners, Perez played just 21 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals with just one coming in the league.
His lack of game time under former manager Arsene Wenger saw him make the loan move back to Deportivo, where he scored eight league goals in 35 matches.
It seems Arsenal have made a considerable loss on the 29-year-old who arguably never really got a real chance at the Emirates. Only time will tell whether the Hammers have got themselves a bargain.
