Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has confirmed that he is on his way to Valencia with a cryptic post on his Twitter page.
The 24-year-old Belgian joined Chelsea from Marseille in 2016 but, despite a respectable 19 goals in 53 appearances for the Blues, has found his playing time in London restricted.
The 19-time Belgian international spent the end of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, scoring nine goals in 14 games in all competitions.
Rumours recently surfaced of a loan move to Spanish club, Valencia, and Batshuayi seems to have confirmed the move is happening by posting a Bat emoji on his Twitter page – a Bat is featured on Valencia’s crest.

Valencia joined in the fun with a tweet of their own that translates to: “A new bat arrives in Valencia.”

And further confirmation of the move was given when Kristof Terreur, who covers Belgian players in the Premier League for HLN, posted about the move on his own Twitter page – he also confirmed that there is no option for Los Che to buy Batshuayi at the end of the loan.
