Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on Maurizio Sarri for implementing his philosophy so quickly at Chelsea.
Sarri is unbeaten since arriving at Chelsea in the summer, winning six and drawing one of his seven games so far across all competitions.
Often referred to as “Sarri-ball”, the Italian’s approach is heavily reliant on possession and a 4-3-3 formation that requires players to fulfil specific roles.
Jorginho broke a record 180 passes against West Ham United at the weekend, illustrating the passing style of a Sarri team.

Sarri’s predecessor, his countryman Antonio Conte, used a back three and utilised wing-backs for the majority of his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
As a result, the new man in charge has been forced to make drastic tactical changes in order to match his needs, and the results have astonished Klopp.
“It is the biggest change I ever saw in such a short period of time, of system,” Klopp said in a press conference (via Phil Medlicott) ahead of Liverpool’s EFL Cup clash with Chelsea on Wednesday night.
“Wow. Style completely (different). What a manager he is, to be honest. Starting the season, and you see immediately the impact – all my respect.”
Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League after winning their first six matches, while Chelsea dropped points for the first time this season with their goalless draw at West Ham.
