FIFA 19 release week has arrived. Already planning your Ultimate Team? Working out how you’ll go about winning the Champions League with your favoured sides? Us too.
One of the most exciting teams to play with on this year’s game will be Liverpool, on account of their pace in attack, some excellent new additions in midfield, forward-thinking full-backs and a solid goalkeeper (at long last).
Can’t wait to see the new ratings? We’ve got you covered. Read on for Liverpool players’ FIFA 19 player ratings and stats in full.
Liverpool’s FIFA 19 stats: goalkeepers
Liverpool finally addressed their long-standing goalkeeping issue in the summer after the £66.9m addition of Alisson Becker from Roma. The Brazil No. 1 has an impressive rating this season and is likely to be on the wishlists of a number of Ultimate Team users.
Simon Mignolet and U23s stopper Caoimhin Kelleher are the other Liverpool goalkeepers on FIFA 19.
Liverpool’s FIFA 19 stats: defenders
Virgil van Dijk is by far the standout Liverpool defender on FIFA 19 this season. Liverpool fans will be disappointed to hear that Joe Gomez, who has been so impressive alongside Van Dijk in the heart of the Reds’ defence so far this season, is only rated as a 76 and is listed as a right-back.
FUT tip: We think Andy Robertson could be one of the most lethal left-backs on the game this season. His 84 pace rating is a very exciting attribute and at around 9k, we’d recommend snapping him up early.
Liverpool’s FIFA 19 stats: midfielders
The summer signings of Fabinho and Naby Keita added real strength in depth to Liverpool’s midfield for this season. Both players have impressive ratings on this years game, too. Fabinho has had a slow start to life at Anfield but has been rewarded with an 85 rating on FIFA 19 after another solid season with Monaco.
Youngsters Curtis Jones and Rafa Camacho, who appeared for the Reds in pre-season, also feature on the game.
FUT tip: Gini Wijnaldum should be available at around 8.5k when the game is released and could be the perfect all-rounder for your team. With 83 dribbling and 77 passing, the Dutchman could be the ideal utility man at a cheap price.
Liverpool’s FIFA 19 stats: attackers
Liverpool’s illustrious front three will be among the most deadly attackers on FIFA 19. Mohamed Salah has been given an 88 overall rating while Sadio Mane boasts a 94 pace rating. Roberto Firmino is listed as a CF this season, meaning a lot of players may opt for a 4-3-3 false nine formation when playing with Liverpool on this year’s game.
FUT tip: At around 5.5k, Xherdan Shaqiri could be a very shrewd addition to your team this season. 85 dribbling, 80 pace and 80 passing make him a useful player at a ridiculously low price.
