Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has issued a tongue-in-cheek response to EA Sport’s interpretation of contract negotiations between himself and his club on FIFA 19.
The highly-anticipated release of the latest edition in the FIFA video-game franchise has fans across the globe brimming with excitement, and FIFA 19 will hit the shelves tomorrow on September 28.
One of the more recent features to enter game is the Career Mode negotiation cutscenes between players, agents and club owners, and one eagle-eyed fan spotted Cech wearing his helmet during a contract meeting.

The veteran shot-stopper is renowned in world football for sporting the famous head guard, and it appears FIFA 19 have now included the ‘Easter Egg’ to highlight the inviolable association between Cech and his well-known head guard.
Having seen the picture, Cech himself took to social media to jokingly respond to the meme, suggesting that FIFA have not portrayed a realistic representation of his attire, as he would never enter a contract negotiation meeting without wearing a tie.

In the cutscene, a rather dapper looking Cech can be seen donning a smart casual suit, without a tie, and his on-field helmet, which certainly sticks out like a sore thumb.
Cech’s tongue-in-cheek response has been well-received, leaving a number of fans in hysterics, and if FIFA 19 hadn’t already received widespread publicity, this will only add to the excitement for tomorrow’s release. Who knows what other hidden gems FIFA have included this year.
