The apparent feud between Paul Pogba and manager Jose Mourinho appears to have been cranked up a notch.
Although the pair of them have denied reports that they are not seeing eye-to-eye, it has been clear to many that there is a rift between player and manager.
And, following Man United’s shock defeat to Derby County in the League Cup last night, for which Pogba was left out of the squad, and Jose Mourinho saying (via the Irish Independent) that he will “not pick Pogba as the second-captain anymore”, a video has surfaced of a very cold exchange between the two at the club’s training ground.
JUST IN!
Frosty footage just in from @ManUtd's training session between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho… ❄️

The footage seems to show the French World Cup-winner high-fiving players and coaches, including Michael Carrick, on his way out to training with the Red Devils, before being stopped in his tracks by something Mourinho says.
The two then appear to have an awkward exchange, with Pogba’s facial expressions indicating that he is not happy at whatever is being said.
As always, Twitter users have been quick to give their thoughts on the drama, with fans, opposition supporters and even an ex-pro getting in on the action.
keep telling yourself that

Two mammoth personalities – normally only one winner here, the manager. Somehow see this one being different

Haha, state of Pogba. Who does he think he is, most overrated player in the country.

Pogba's side eye looks evil tho, Jose better sleep with one eye open

I'm with pogba on this one.
Mourinho as the manager is acting childish.
Third season syndrome in full effect

A lot of people making something out of nothing but that is something and not nothing. Pogba seems to be in his usual spirits with everyone else.

Pogba: “Morning boss, let’s have a good training session”
Mourinho: “I will not be dictated to by you Paul. Do not tell me how to conduct my own training session”

POGBA HAS ISOLATED MOURINHO HERE

Love the fact united can be seen to be falling apart….mourinho is the problem at untied not pogba – everyone is saying he is the bad egg but he does not have an issue when with France or when he was at Juventus…best thing for united is to get Jose out…

Just look at the hatred in Pogba's eyes. He cannot stand Jose one bit.

And, as with all drama in football, fans claim to be in the know. This incident is no different, with ‘@Ribertoboggio’ claiming that his physio mate has spilt the beans on the conversation.
Mate who is a physio there was saying pogba is late out for training regularly – just photo commitments etc and chatting to staff as he gets on with a lot in the club but Mourinho apparently said “late again Paul” and that is all it is – still frosty though

The ever-reliable ‘mate who works there’ source clears things up once again.
