FIFA 19 is finally here. Already planning your Ultimate Team? Working out how you’ll go about winning the Champions League with your favoured sides? Us too.
Maybe you’re looking forward to taking charge of Manchester United and turning around their poor start to the season under your management?
Despite their recent troubles, they still have some excellent players on this year’s game and some that will be in extremely high demand on Ultimate Team.
Read on for the lowdown on every single United players’ FIFA 19 rating.
Manchester United’s FIFA 19 stats: goalkeepers
As many expected, David De Gea has taken Manuel Neuer’s spot as the best goalkeeper on FIFA 19. With 94 reflexes, 90 diving, 88 positioning and 87 kicking, the Spaniard really is the ultimate goalkeeper on this year’s game.
United’s No.2 goalkeeper Sergio Romero has been given a solid rating, whilst new signing Lee Grant also features on the game.
Manchester United goalkeeper ratings for FIFA 19: David De Gea (91), Sergio Romero (80), Lee Grant (74)
Manchester United’s FIFA 19 stats: defenders
Jose Mourinho was desperate to sign another defender in the summer transfer window and United’s player stats in defence perhaps explain why. Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly are their highest rated defenders, with both given 82 ratings for this season.
Some fans may feel that Luke Shaw has been slightly hard done by with his rating after his re-emergence this season. Right-back Diogo Dalot features on the game but has an understandably low rating given his age and inexperience.
FUT tip: Antonio Valencia is always a solid right-back on FIFA and this year shouldn’t be any different. The United captain is 33-years-old now but still boasts a pace rating of 85. We expect him to be one of the most effective right-backs on the game again this season.
Manchester United defender ratings for FIFA 19: Eric Bailly (82), Antonio Valencia (82), Chris Smalling (81), Ashley Young (80), Phil Jones (80), Victor Lindelof (79), Luke Shaw (78), Marcos Rojo (80), Matteo Darmian (76), Diogo Dalot (72), Ro-Shaun Williams (64)
Manchester United’s FIFA 19 stats: midfielders
It’s no surprise to see Paul Pogba lead the way as the highest rated United midfielder on the game this season, but there are a few other eye-catching ratings for some of his team-mates in the centre of the park.
Nemanja Matic has a strong looking all round rating and Jesse Lingard is listed as CAM on this year’s game.
FUT tip: Summer signing Fred could be a useful and relatively cheap addition to your team on FIFA 19. His overall rating is 82 but with a dribbling rating of 82, a pace rating of 79 and 77 passing, the Brazilian could be the understated midfield maestro you need in your squad this year.
Manchester United midfielder ratings for FIFA 19: Paul Pogba (88), Nemanja Matic (86), Juan Mata (83), Fred (82), Ander Herrera (82), Jesse Lingard (82), Marouane Fellaini (79), Andreas Pereira (78), Scott McTominay (71), Angel Gomes (66), Callum Gribbin (65), Ethan Hamilton (64), Regan Poole (63)
Manchester United’s FIFA 19 stats: attackers
Romelu Lukaku is of course the standout attacking player for United on FIFA this season. Despite a mixed start to life at Old Trafford for Alexis Sanchez, the Chilean has been given another impressive rating this year.
The pace of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial will again give users the opportunity to liven up their attacks in the wide areas when playing with United this season.
FUT tip: Marcus Rashford could be a lethal option in your Ultimate Team this season and one that will be available at a reasonable price. A 92 pace rating with 82 dribbling and 80 shooting makes him a hugely difficult player to defend against.
Manchester United attacker ratings for FIFA 19: Romelu Lukaku (87), Alexis Sanchez (87), Anthony Martial (83), Marcus Rashford (81), Tahith Chong (65), Joshua Bohui (64)
